Letter from the President and CEO
On behalf of Imani Within Foundation, we are honored to have served the Atlanta community for over a decade. During this time, I have had the privilege of connecting with individuals whose stories have deeply impacted me. I recall moments spent with a woman who was homeless after losing everything and walking away from an abusive marriage, a man who had served 14 years in prison and was seeking a fresh start, a functioning cocaine addict who was desperate for change, and an elderly widower I met in line at the grocery store. In each of these encounters, I believe we both found a sense of hope—a belief that, even in the most difficult of circumstances, there is still someone who cares, and that better days are ahead.
Faith is the conviction that God's promises will come to pass, even when life's challenges cause us to doubt. Sometimes, it feels as though the mustard seed of faith is drying up, and all we have left is hope—hope that better days are coming. I am reminded of the two men walking on the road, who were approached by Jesus but did not recognize Him. They were filled with hope and expectancy, yet still uncertain. It’s a reminder that hope is not always immediate or clear, but it is always present.
At Imani Within Foundation, I believe our work—along with the dedication of our team and volunteers—helps restore that hope. Through our presence, we show others that they can find their way, and that faith can be restored when we come together in empathy and support. We are committed to helping individuals reclaim their lives and rebuild their futures, by offering therapy, counseling, physical fitness programs, group and individual support, professional skills development, affordable housing, healthcare services, Bible study, and prayer.
Through these services, we provide individuals with the tools they need to live successful, fulfilling lives.
As William James said, "The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it." We are dedicated to creating a lasting impact, and with God’s grace, we will continue to serve many more individuals in the years to come.
Sincerely,
Ms.Sashe Omogiate
